About this course

What is this?
Adaptive and nonlinear control is a graduate-level course that covers deterministic control in the presence of large-scale uncertainty about the system being controlled. The focus will be on adaptive control and estimation, while also incorporating advanced analysis techniques for nonlinear systems, as well as connections between adaptation, learning, and real-time optimization.
The material in this course will be based on a number of sources, including:
Grades will be based on homework (60%) and a final presentation (40%).
